Mediation Services

Mediation is an alternative to litigation. It is a private, voluntary and structured dispute resolution process guided by a neutral third-party or mediator.

In mediation, we act as a third-party neutral, working with you and any other party to find cooperative ways to resolve your differences. We do not provide legal advice to either party, do not consider evidence or testimony, and do not render a decision for you. Instead, we help you work with the other parties to find solutions that are satisfactory to everyone involved.

You may choose to be represented by a lawyer in mediation, but it is not required. If you reach agreement on the issues, we will prepare an agreement setting forth the terms, which will then become enforceable in a court of law.

Family Mediation
